History

OM SAI SADHNA SANSTHAN (OSSS) is a registered charitable trust established in New Delhi in May 2000.
Beside various religious and charitable objectives its primary aim was to set up SHRI SAI DHAM (SSD) Dharamshala for devotees in Shirdi.

The heavenly experience of setting up the trust and moving ahead started with Mr. Syal and Mr. Wason leading to form selfless group of devotees willing to participate and take the initiative of setting the abode in Shirdi.

Mr Syal, founding trustee of the trust has experienced many miracles by the grace of baba. He was told by baba himself to form a palki with his picture and idol and take it to Shirdi. He himself drove with the palki and baba surviving on donations of people on the path to shirdi. It is then when he decided that we must setup the palki under an ashram in Shirdi.

He came back with Palki and made a makeshift temple in Defence Colony, Delhi, where he pledged and seek help from other devotees with grace of baba to setup the ashram. He slowly was able to acquire the land and collect the money required for the ashram.

With years passing by and baba’s grace he was able to establish the ashram right next to baba’s Samadhi mandir in Shirdi and taken the palki back there. The palki now stays in the ashram and forms an important part where baba himself stay in the ashram.
